”We were greeted by a young woman who looked as if she’d just come out of the gym without changing. She didn’t seem very interested when booking us in. The room was very small and had a weird glass door on the bathroom, which didn’t give much privacy.
The bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient.”

”As per previous reviews, this property was a great place to stay. It's smack bang in Portsmouth Harbour and right next to the bus station and Gosport ferry so couldn't be more convenient if that's your goal. It is a very urban location but a nice view of the harbour on one side but the bus station on the other. Breakfast was included in the rate and Excellent! Even the coffee was great (and having just returned from France, UK coffee is normally a step down). Unlike many properties like this,...

”Hotelli on lähellä kaikkia kauppat. Auton pysäköinti on helppoa.
Itse hotelli on rakenettu 1700 luvulla ja historiallinen.
Huonemme oli iso ja mukava. Ainoa puute oli pieni jääkaapi.
Palvelu toimii. Ravintola ja ruokka on hyvä ja väki kohteliatta ja mukavia. Huulen heittoa toimii.
Hissi ei ole mutta laukumme oli viettu huoneseen.
Suositelemme.”

”Lovely reception staff - i wrote the names of the women down but lost them! But they were so welcoming and helpful.
The reviews for thie hotel seem quite harsh as this is a solid four star review hotel. The pool and gym are excellent. Breakfast had the best bacon I have had in a hotel but you need to come to breakfast before 9.30.
The rooms were clean and modern.”

”We stayed one night at the hotel. It was easy to find and had a good car park. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got information of restaurants nearby where we could have dinner. It was a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurants. The room was quite small, but had all we needed. The breakfast was tasty :) ”
