”Unless I was a foreigner I could hardly understand their language. The HBO was very poor and the TV did not work when we got there we had to have them come up and install something that was not installed. And that's about it other things were kind of okay for a very inexpensive stay other than the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable”

”View of the river from the balcony was restful, even the landscaping when we opened the door to the pathway was lush. The bed was too soft and squishy for our taste. ”

”This was a very welcoming stay after a week on the road camping. The room smelled good, was impeccably clean and most importantly....the bed and pillows were excellent. The room was quiet (2nd floor). The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. This is right across the street from Safeway. ”

”Great check in at front desk who helped me check in an hour early. Clean, modern and spacious room. Easy walk to trails and into the city. Nice complementary breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at the Lightwell. The spa is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!”

”This place is phenomenal!! The checkin process is seamless and the hosts are very communicative. The location is perfectly walkable and it comes with a parking pass. The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every little detail! We really appreciated the extra touch they added by going above and beyond with amenities like snacks, beverages, and toiletries. I can’t wait to come back!! ”
