”Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own.
The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site.
Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside.
We’ll be back.”

”We live about 3 hours from here, we decided to book a room here meeting half way to the coast, which is quite a drive. We wanted to explore the dam and fish hatchery. Really nice rooms, pool and beautiful view of the columbia river. We hope to make this a tradition stopping here.”
”Facility is great, staff wonderfully helpful, and location excellent; close to everything.
One suggestion though. Please provide unscented soaps and lotions. Many of us, me included, are very scent sensitive.

”Very clean, beautiful property that is neatly kept and has gorgeous views of the Columbia River. Staff are all very friendly. Neat picnic area, other seating, fire pit, board games and outdoor games available.”
”This property is under remodeling.The rooms are quite excellent for comfort. Very quiet and peaceful.
I will say that when the remodel is completed this will be a top tier destination.
I will return in the future and for all my stays in the Dalles area.”
