Zunächst ist positiv zu bewerten, dass das Zimmer immer, bis auf den vorletzten Tag gereinigt wurde. Das Personal war, bis auf eine Kellnerin sehr bemüht. Das Hotel, besonders der Speisesaal wirkt sehr runtergekommen und hat den Charme einer Kantine. Gläser findet man nur selten. Es werden Pappbecher aufgestellt. Auch findet man kaum Suppenteller für die tägliche Suppe. Die gibt es auch alternativ aus Pappe. Die Tische werden nicht eingedeckt. Insgesamt ist das Essen geschmacklich nicht so schlecht, jedoch sehr langweilig, da immer das gleiche aufgefahren wird. Die Bar ist auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Getränke sind nicht besonders gut. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und hat einen großen Sanierungsstau. Leider ist die nähe an den Canal d‘Amour auch eher störend, da ständig Sightseeing Touristen durch die Anlage laufen um Fotos zu machen. Wir werden definitiv nicht nochmal das Hotel buchen. Die Insel Corfu zu besuchen ist allerdings sehr empfehlenswert.

No longer a 4 star hotel this place is looking tired . It’s ok but in need of some cosmetic work around the whole place . The rooms are clean and tidy . The food is ok nothing special but we could always find something we liked . The soft drink is awful really cheap alternative to coke and Fanta etc , not nice at all . The gym is laughable most people will have a better one at home .No lobby bar or à la carte restaurant. The pool area is a nice area to be during the day with amazing views . Overall it’s a bit expensive for what it is . Such a shame as this place was great a few ago

Tolle Lage, direkt am Kanal d'amore. Das Zimmer mit Pool war riesig. Leider ohne fließendes Wasser. Anfangs tröpfelte nur etwas Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn, es stank aber. Dann kam weder am Waschbecken, noch aus Dusche oder WC Wasser. Auch an der Pooltoilette /-Dusche kam kein Wasser. Dann kam noch ein Sturm auf und auch der Strom und WLAN fielen aus. Wir waren zu zweit für 250 € nur eine Nacht im Hotel, konnten in der Zeit weder richtig auf Toilette, noch duschen oder Hände waschen. Am nächsten Morgen nutzten wir vor der Abreise das WC an der Rezeption, weil im Zimmer noch immer kein Wasser floss. Schade, der Aufenthalt hätte so schön sein können!

Amazing location!

Location is absolutely amazing. Super friendly staff. Great variety during meals. Rooms are little outdated and minimal comfort ( no place to sit unless on the bed/couch, would have been nice to have a decent seat). Airco works well. More entertainment would have been nice. Enjoyed our stay because of the great location and lovely people.

Lo mejor del hotel es el personal, super amables tanto en decepción como en el restaurante buffet. En general la experiencia fue muy buena. Está al lado del canal d’amour y de muchísimos restaurantes y bares. También tiene la playa al lado y unas vistas increíbles. Lo único que para el precio podrían mejor algunos servicios.. como un equipo de animación, algunas tumbonas y camas balinesas están deterioradas y una parte del hotel sin cuidar.

Nice small hotel

Small hotel, close to the beaches and Sidari town. Nice and clean pool with lots of sunbeds. Very nice waiters, enough tables in restaurant. Wide range of food, vegetables, salads, theme's nights. Fitness was poor, according to my son (but who use it on holiday 😀) We really enjoy our stay. Would recommend.

Kindness and Generosity

After years my first ever review and only because staff were exceptional. I was first guest of the year so staff just settling in but went out of their way in service but especially kindness and generosity. A lesson for all hotels.

Vår vistelse på Akron Seascape Resort överträffade verkligen alla våra förväntningar. Redan vid incheckningen kände vi oss varmt välkomna. Kvinnan i receptionen gjorde hela processen otroligt smidig och bemötte oss med ett leende, stor professionalism och en genuin vilja att hjälpa till. När vi anlände hade lunchen precis avslutats. De snacks som fanns framme passade tyvärr inte oss, men restaurangchefen tog initiativet att göra fantastiskt goda baguetter åt oss – trots att han absolut inte behövde. Den omtanken och servicenivån är något man sällan upplever och förtjänar verkligen högsta betyg. För oss är det världsklass. En annan händelse som verkligen visar vilken fantastisk personal hotellet har var när jag och min fru en kväll ville besöka 7th Heaven. Receptionen försökte boka en taxi, men det fanns inga lediga. Då sa receptionisten: “Jag kör er istället så att ni får uppleva det.” Hon körde oss helt utan kostnad, enbart för att hon ville hjälpa oss. Den gesten kommer vi aldrig att glömma. Hela personalen på Akron Seascape Resort får en att känna sig som mer än bara en gäst. Deras engagemang, vänlighet och vilja att alltid göra det lilla extra skapade en semester vi kommer att minnas länge. Vi lämnar hotellet med fantastiska minnen och kan varmt rekommendera Akron Seascape Resort till alla som söker ett hotell med hög service, genuint värdskap och en familjär atmosfär. Vi kommer utan tvekan tillbaka!

On the whole, a pleasant short stay in a premium swim-up room. Friendly and helpful staff and a lovely welcome with a large meat and cheese platter awaiting us in our room with a big bottle of water! Some improvements could be made to meet 4* expectations such as more thorough cleaning, more varied food options and stocking all inclusive rooms with tea/coffee and cold drinks/drinking water.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot on top of the Canal D Amour with easy walking to the resort shops and restaurants. The food was delicious and authentically Greek, a good variety too. The pool is lovely and big enough to swim easily, never crowded. The stand out feature is how lovely every single member of staff is, they really went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. We loved it when the bar staff all kept up to join in the Greek dancing. My only caveat would be the steps up to second floor of the apartment could be a problem with small children.

Un hôtel de très haut standing avec un service de qualité ! Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le manager de l'hôtel Mr Alexandros et que dire des équipes dans le restaurant merci encore à Irini, Billy Georgia et Anthonis le chef cuisinier du restaurant qui nous a régalé ! Nous reviendrons très vite !!

Lovely small resort, fantastic staff and an excellent location. But we didn’t get the classification of rooms we booked and were downgraded on arrival. This seemed to be a problem for a lot of guests, so I think there was a systemic booking problem over the winter/spring period while the resort is closed. In fairness they did manage to give us adjacent rooms after the first night, initially we were spread across two blocks hundreds of meters apart.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. It’s very tired and in need of a lot of investment. Our room was very spacious though we did book a duplex room and was very basic. Bathroom was reasonable but was in need of some repair works to tiling, door frames and even plumbing works as the toilet took around half a dozen flushes to clear and the shower can take up to 20 mins to push through any hot water. Clean bedding replaced regularly but don’t expect a thorough clean of your room, have a quick look under your bed/sofa and it’s obvious they don’t fully clean. Sunbeds are very comfortable but again in need of some repairs. Pool bar serves very cheap soft drinks and alcohol so don’t expect anything of quality. Water supplied had been filled up at the tap before this was spotted by one of the hotel residents who complained so just be on your guard. Worth using a straw too as you can taste the sterilising detergent on the plastic glasses which also numbs your lips. My lip reacted badly to it and has swollen on one side. We paid to go all inclusive mainly so our children could help themselves throughout the day but ate out every night as this is our preference so can’t comment on the evening food. Afternoon there is plenty of choice but mainly caters for Eastern Europeans so depends on your personal taste. We’re disappointed with what we paid as it does not represent good value especially as the park, the lobby bar and second restaurant advertised are no longer there either.

We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely worth getting the swim up room with private pool. Not too far from beaches but be warned that the canal d’Amour beach which is closer is permanently packed in August. You can swim round to it from the smaller beach nearby though if you are a strong enough swimmer. The sunset was lovely at the restaurant on the cliff and we mostly had it to ourselves. Rooms were a bit smaller than they look in the photo but fine for our stay for 5 nights. The only issue was our towels were only changed once throughout and it would have been nice to get fresh ones every couple of days. Otherwise the room was clean but not very modern. Breakfast was fine and the staff were really friendly.

A Perfect Family Getaway at Akron Resort

We had a fantastic stay at Akron Resort! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this resort is committed to providing a top-notch, family-friendly experience. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed. The resort was spotlessly clean at all times, with staff regularly maintaining both the common areas and the food stations. The all-inclusive food options were impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. The stations were constantly restocked and kept clean, which made every meal enjoyable. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, we never once felt crowded. There were always plenty of loungers by the pool, no waiting in lines, and a calm, relaxed atmosphere throughout the property. One of the highlights for me was how truly family-oriented the resort was. It was peaceful, well-managed, and respectful—no loud parties, no drunken behavior, just a great environment for families to enjoy their time together. We will absolutely be returning to Akron Resort and highly recommend it to any families looking for a stress-free and memorable vacation!

The staff were fantastic at this resort, special shoutout to Alexandra (Restaurant Manager) and Mike (Bar staff) Both so lovely and easy to talk to! For a cheaper priced holiday we couldn't have asked for much more! Was slightly disappointed with our leaking shower and drink selections at the bar but we made the hotel aware of this at the end of our stay and Mike was able to switch alcohol options so we didn't have to drink cocktails we didn't like, also the hotel cat was a personal favourite very lovely to see him at breakfast, lunch and dinner and many places to visit locally with amazing scenery. If staying in this hotel i would recommend a sunset meal at their a la carte restaurant, greek night at the three little pigs, a sunset trip to the 7th heaven and a 15€ coach day trip into the old town and was told it is even more beautiful at night time (we didn't have enough time!). Would advise on pre booking transfers as taxi's are expensive! Overall a truly wonderful holiday. Thanks to everyone who made this trip special.

We stayed at Akron as a family of 4, with a 3 year old and a 2 year old. It was a really great resort to stay for what we wanted, which was to have all amenities on site or nearby. We went half board, we’d planned to just do bed and breakfast but it was only £1 a night more for half board when I booked. But we’re so glad we did, the food was varied each night, it was tasty, and it made it way easier with the 2 kids. You also get local beer or wine included at dinner even if you’re not all inclusive which was nice. The breakfast also had lots of variety. Staff also really lovely. We stayed in a superior maisonette - 2 storey with a balcony on the lower floor. No swim up pool. We actually had our 2 kids sleep upstairs in the master room (2yo in a cot and 3yo in the bed) and we slept on the twin beds in the living area. There’s a steep set of stairs between the floors that you don’t really want young kids going up or down on their own and you can’t block them off from the living area. So. With the kids upstairs we could keep them safe in the bedroom with the door closed and not have to sneak past them during nap time or after their bed time to use the bathroom or go on the balcony. The pool area is great and doesn’t ever feel crowded, the kids pool is about 2 ft deep all over so not “paddle depth” at any point. So kids who can’t swim always need arm bands etc. Canal d’amour beach literally 1 min walk from pool. 10+ restaurants a 5 min walk from reception.
