Siisti hotelli, hyvällä paikalla. Aamiaiselle olisimme toivoneet vegaaneille muutakin kuin hedelmiä, tosin hyviä ravintoloita vegaanivaihtoehdoilla lähellä.

Hotel in great location
The location is great: close to everything. The hotel is nice but the hotel rooms would need an update. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent! The hotel has a pool and sauna and we enjoyed that.

Nice hotel. We arrived very early after flying over night. We paid extra for early checking (12:00pm). Staff at the desk were great. They let us check in 6:30am. It allowed us to get some sleep and enjoy Dublin in the afternoon. Busy hotel with lots of business travelers.

Great service! Front desk was amazing and helpful. I wish I remembered her name but the young Spanish lady knew her stuff and provided answers and information quickly while multi-tasking. Fitness center was downstair with a small pool but still could do decent laps in. Food was good. Breakfast buffet was worth it. Rooms were big enough and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Lobby and elevator was not cleaned. Elevator had same stains in cabin for entire stay. Never wiped down. Lobby tables all dirty on entry. Either no one at check desk or one overworked person. All staff I interacted with did their best. Good location. Lounge was ample.

Stayed at the Clayton for 3 nights. It was ok, nothing special. Staff ok but not particularly attentive. I had requested a nice room because it was my hubby's birthday but this was ignored. Instead our room looked out on a side street that had a lot of down and outs, at all hours (not the hotels fault!). Communal areas are nice in the lobby but venture further and it's grubby and tired. We have previously stayed at The Imperial. So, perhaps The Clayton was always on the back foot because The Imperial is superior.

The hotel is very convenient to the city. The room we had was off the side street above the entrance of a public multi car park that was very noisy. There were early morning deliveries which disturbed our sleep. Otherwise nice and clean hotel

Only one staff at front desk and was too busy chatting with another customer. We ended up using the self-service kiosk to check in our room. So, no comments on staff and service.

The hotel and room were excellent, close to the city and had a balcony overlooking the river which was lovely. The only downside is that it is never mentioned in the information that you have to wear a swimming cap to use the pool, these can be purchased from the spa but I was not aware of this prior to booking. I do not like wearing swimming caps as I find them uncomfortable so did not use the pool which I would have liked to. I feel this should be mentioned in the spa info. Otherwise I could not fault the hotel and staff.

This was the absolute best hotel experience! I accidently forgot my phone and Debbie, front desk manager, was incredible - instead of having me spend time and money organizing and paying to DHL she rang me and said she was coming to the Netherlands where I live for the weekend. I met her in Amsterdam where she returned my phone. Above and beyond is all I can say - cheers to Clayton for hiring such rock stars! Although we are traditionally Hilton and Marriott, we are now loyal to an all-Irish brand - well done!!

Some rooms are nicer than others. We had two rooms. One of the rooms looked renovated. The other room was older and had red stains on the carpet that looked like it could be blood.

the staff cannot not be bothered, rooms were not vacuumed as I was allergic with running nose and sneezing as soon as I entered the room until the next day when I asked for the room to be clean and vacuumed and then I was better. Homeless person sleeping at the door by the breakfast room and was peeing at the door during breakfast If you are not a meat eater the don't go there not much other than baked beans and toast.

The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. One small critic is that the evening meal is a little expensive and service was very slow. Slow to clear the table and once we had our main meal we were never approached again to see if we wanted desserts or how the meal was. Bar was not overly busy

First time in Ireland
Ideal location in the city centre with discounted parking in the underground car park. (Must validate your ticket at the hotel reception). Rooms were adequate and cleaned to a high standard. Good choice of breakfast and there is a hotel bar and restaurant and in house coffee shop. All friendly and helpful staff and I would stay here again.

Some confusion checking in with a second room reservation. Close to the English market/shopping. Shower was pathetic and hard to get bottles of water for room. A little expensive for what we got.
