”A beautiful old building in a delightful setting. Very quiet despite being on the High St. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tired but adequate. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. ”

”Beautiful area. Lovely clean room.
Only downside of coming in winter or during bad weather is the restaurant and hotel are not all in one building. They are only a few steps apart but enough to get wet. Also not great for elderly due to cobbles floor outside area. But that’s all part of the character of the building.
Will definitely be staying again as we live Abingdon. ”

Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. If I was being picky, it would’ve been nice to have had some complimentary Bottled Water in the Room on arrival.
