”It was a wonderful stay”

”Location was convenient, price was very good, Our two nights were pretty quiet. TV channels were ok and breakfast was minimal (not a lot of guests during our visit), internet worked. Older facility, carpet old but no odors. Staff was very good. Maid service is every second day, also was plenty space for a family with a truck and boat trailer, fresh towels are available from the desk. Parking was easy for a pickup and utility trailer. Bed was good. Liked the refrigerator had a freezer section....

”This was the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in. It was run down and dirty. Mildew in the shower and the toilet didn’t flush properly. The floors seemed sticky and gross. It was very disappointing.”

However, my grown son rented a room for one night at the same time, and he left early because his room was dirty (cigarette butts on the floor, three pieces of trash in corners, and the mattress seemed broken down and was definitely unacceptable. Staff in general were not friendly – the only one who was friendly and helpful was the woman at the desk in the evening. Breakfast was OK however, the coffee was a machine and was...
