”Nicely decorated with very helpful staff and clean well maintained rooms. My only complaint is that the standard room we were given was very small...too small for 2 adults. Had we been staying more than one night, we would have asked to be moved.”

”Very lovely spacious room”

”A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

”Second time staying here. Expensive, and both breakfast and parking cost extra. Breakfast was good, but not excellent like some other stays we had on this trip. Parking is tight but doable. The Plate restaurant next door is very good for dinner. ”

”The housecleaning staff forgot to clean my room for three days. I was offered a complimentary coffee for this oversite. The laundry service has a 25 pound minimum charge. The desk receptionist didn't know that. The hotel needs better management.”
