”The George is in a very central place in Cheltenham, it’s close to all the bus's needed to got to the Cotswolds and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful and give good advice regarding the area. We had the continental breakfast and there was plenty of healthy food and drinks available. We also had some cooked to order breakfasts and these were exceptionally good. On the downside some of the carpets on the stairs need renewing. Overall I’d give the George 9/10.”
”Good location. About 8mins walk into town. Very few car parking spaces in front (5) but we managed to get one. Staff were friendly but it was harder to find them than expected! Ringing the bell for attention didn’t elicit a reaction on check in or checkout and had to look for someone. Room was good size (we had room 7, called ‘Excellent’ on the website). Nice big metal bath and shower. Pretty good for the money although the toilet was very slow refilling after a flush - about five mins before it...
”Terrible el calor que hacía en la habitación. En plena ola de calor (35-40 grados centígrados), no tenían aire acondicionado, las ventanas solo se podían abrir una ranura, era comonuna carcel hirviendo. Al final nos dejaron un ventilador que alivió un poco la situación pero no la solucinó.
El personal dependía micho del día, había gente encantadora y gente muy poco colaboradora que se notaba que no les gustaba su trabajo.
La habitación era bonita.
La comida buena.
