Cound Hotellit

”Lovely property -- a lot of stais to get to rooms, but a very nice location”

”The hotel was lovely but the lift sounded like it was u n need of maintenance”

”The service in the breakfast was great and helpful but products were ran out all the time. Staff was young overall and seemed unefficient. Room was beautiful and surrounding nice countryside, peaceful and pretty.”

”The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

”Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well presented even a lovely note was left from the cleaning staff and a welcoming message before arrival was a nice touch. The only thing I could fault is a broken light in our room and if u compare it with a premier inn the bed is much smaller and there is no bath, however it is definitely more modern.”

”Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.”

”The room was a bit small making it feel claustrophobic. But it was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were very friendly”

”Lämmin ja lämminhenkinen. Hyvä aamiainen. Siisti huone.”

”My shower leaked so bathroom floor was wet all the time. There was mould in the shower .no Fridge. There was litter left in one corner of the room . Breakfast was pretty underwhelming but well staffed and managed. The bed was awful , lumpy and uncomfortable. Ill not be staying here again . It was cheap and I know why. Only one small lift for wheelchair users so if youre a large party or if u have lots of luggage better stay on the ground floor. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We...

”The room was clean . The bedroom was small for a double, bed was very comfy but had a terrible squeak every time one person moved . The bathroom spacious and good shower. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Located very good for travelling around the area .”

”Used the swimming pool breakfast was okay nothing to stand out felt a bit cold.”

”Property was beautiful. Fixtures & fittings high quality. Parking free and easy access into the Town Centre on foot.”

”Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.”

”Everything needed for a cosy, relaxing stay. Will book again.”

”Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.”
