Very no nonsense hotel elevator reeks of marijuana and the fire alarm went off at 4:44 AM on my first night there for some reason they just said we’ll fix it. ”The hotel is next to a busy road, so we could hear the cars drive by at night. The rooms are a bit older looking, and not properly cleaned. Our room had some weird dirt on the floor and the wall of the bathroom. Saw a cockroach on the ground floor, it was dead though. Breakfast was pretty good, nice variety of stuff. Really appreciated the reusable plates and real utensils during breakfast, good for the environment. But please get rid of the plastic altogether, cups can be replaced with paper...

When we arrived, the man at the front desk was on his personal cellphone, so we had to stand and wait until he was done with his call. We were given an extra set of sheets. ”The guy at check in (I think it was the manager) was extremely friendly and remembered me and had conversations throughout my stay. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Hotel pool was clean. Room was clean. There was only one employee I encountered that wasn’t too friendly, a younger lady I had asked what direction to get to the pool and she gave me a crazy look and just pointed outside and said “out there”… ik the pool is outside (duh) but I didn’t realize it was only accessible from an outside...
