”I have stayed at this hotel about three times in the last five months. It is my go to place whenever I need to do anything in Oakland. I feel safe here. I love the staff. I love the convenience of checking in. The rooms have been clean. The staff is super friendly here. I feel it’s very affordable considering where it’s located. I have tried the restaurant which is also great. I’ve had their lunch, breakfast and dinner. My most recent day was a pleasant one and I know I’ll be back again.”

”Completely remodeled, attractive decor, very clean, staff went above and beyond- we told the day desk staff member we needed to leave the next morning early and get our car out of valet at 5:30 am. When I called to request the vehicle from the overnight desk person, she told me the car was already out front and waiting for us. Made a huge difference!”

”This place will charge you for everything, complimentary breakfast was not complimentary. They gave you a voucher and then you paid the difference. I paid almost 1K for just two nights.”

”I have stayed at the Handlery before and like the staff and the accommodations. This stay I booked a Premier room and it was more spacious and included bathrobes which was nice. I will definitely book the Premier room when I stay again. Nice heated pool. Location downtown is convenient to all transport. And just a short walk to the Embarcadero”
