”What a lovely stay. Very clean, spacious accommodation with great parking and pub with food on site. The pub is very quiet - you wouldn’t even know it was there to be honest. Staff were lovely, food was great and perfect location for Goodwood as you drive in on a quieter road. Would definitely return.”

Tried to book again for that night but unfortunately all rooms were gone. Will definitely stay again. And food, Wow !!!!! . Everything we had over the stay was so tasty. ”Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms”

While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. ”This was a stay in a lovely castle! There are ruins on the property but it adds to the charm. The grounds are maintained beautifully, our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. The staff could not be more professional, thoughtful and helpful. We had a lovely dinner and delicious breakfast in the castle’s hall. This stay has been on my bucket list for many years and Amberley castle fulfilled it perfectly!”
