Its far away from things if you are looking for a base but nice hotel and nice helpful staff

Overall our stay was good , although let down by a couple of issues . Surprised that when returning from our concert around 11.20pm , the bar had been closed and could only get a drink by queuing at reception . The fact there was a lot of returning guests after the concert meant there was a bit of a wait. Seemed like a strange decision on a Friday night , after a big concert . Especially as I’d just stayed the on the previous Sunday for another concert and Bar was open. Also heard from some of the guests about whether food would be available , which they were told it would be … there wasn’t , therefore Uber eats was doing the food. Also a bit disappointed that in morning went for a shower , only to find … no hot water available . Reported to reception on check out. Overall I like the Village Hotel . Would like to add that the night porters where excellent and worked hard to get everyone drinks… not their fault .

Room was good size, staff were very nice. Nice food. Room lacked towels (4 people only 3 towels), same with cups, coffee, and the bathroom as a little unclean in places.

In general, our stay was pretty nice and the hotel worked out for us for a couple of night's stay. Pros + Very clean, room was ready early, room was more spaceous than expected, location was very nice, powerful air conditioning What bothered us - There wasn't much space for laying your stuff down anywhere or for hanging your clothes, generally the room layout wasn't very well thought out, we only had one big towel per person, the walls of the room were paper thin (could hear noise from noth outside and speaking from the hallway)
