2 bed/2 bath + pullout couch, fully renovated water front home on the Lake of Egypt with a beautiful view. Private deck and swimming dock, fire pit, kayak, and smart TVs included. 5 minutes from Interstate 57 and 10 minutes from Downtown Marion. 2 night minimum stay.

Beautiful property. Well stocked and thought out for guests. Close to marinas, DG, and other stores. WiFi was great. Will 100% book again. Only complaint was the mattresses. Those were about 2/10, but we're 50 and picky.

Short but sweet

We just wanted a place south of us in Illinois that would allow us to enjoy the lakes and parks around the area. This place offers this and much more.Beautiful fire pit and dock to enjoy the views of the lake and a place to fish off of.(if you have a boat, your own private dock to your house for the night)Plenty of state parks to visit within a hour radius of the area with plenty even closer.House was clean, fresh and ready for use.We only did a weekend trip but you can get lost down here for easily a week or two if you are an outdoor enthusiast.

Long weekend at the lake

We enjoyed our stay, the house was very nice and well stocked. The outdoor areas and the view were fantastic. We brought our own boat and the dock was perfect. Thanks for a great trip, we’d love to visit again.

Relaxing at the Lake

The house was just as described, and beautifully appointed. The homeowner preemptively dropped off flashlights and batteries ahead of severe weather. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Another great stay

Second time at the beautiful lake house. This time our daughter and husband joined us. Plenty of room for 4. We enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor amenities, all as shown on listing. The owners are kind and easy to reach. All of us loved our stay and we’ll be back

Girls Weekend

Absolutely immaculate property! The stay at this lake house could not have been any better. We honestly did not need to pack half of the things that we did because the house was stocked with everything we could have needed. We all felt very much at home and comfortable. The kitchen was so spacious and everything was completely renovated and spotless. The bathrooms and showers were so nice!! Trenton made accommodations for us to stay an extra night and it made our girls trip even better just to enjoy the dock, kayaks and house for one more night!

Beautiful Lake Getaway

My friend and I both thought this home was beautiful. We met halfway, me from Willowbrook IL, she from Lynchburg TN and has an amazing, relaxing weekend! Your home is perfectly stocked and renovations are perfect. Master suite and 2nd bedroom with bathroom next to it was extremely accommodating for each of us. Comfortable beds and great quality linens! Kitchen fully stocked. View of lake was spectacular! We will definitely meet here again in the future!

Cool Place

We visited Lake if Egypt with another couple for first time. The cabin is newly remodeled and on the Lake. Weather was cool and rainy but we made the best of peaceful dock and fire pit on the beach. The area is beautiful in the fall and plenty to to within reasonable driving distance-hiking, wineries, distilleries, small towns. Recommend this gem for getaway!!

Great getaway!

Lov’n this place! Great ambience!! Clean and fresh…great decor..so relaxing! It made for the perfect getaway with my friends. The owner was really nice to work with, answering any questions about the property. Very accommodating to our arrival and departure plans! Very convenient for our paddle boarding with the big dock. There was also kayaks available to use as well! Fire pit came in handy as a beacon to lead our way home one evening:) Back porch was wonderful to grill, eat, and relax on. Definitely recommending this place to friends and family and look forward to renting here again!!

Beautiful Stay

The home was exactly as pictured, spacious, brightly lit, tastefully decorated, and clean. Everything looks new. We enjoyed swimming from the new dock, grilling, burning a fire, eating and sitting on the nice deck while seeing the lovely lake view. The lake is awesome, with clean super warm water for swimming and good fishing. The surrounding area is also nice for taking walks. The owners are quick to respond to any questions you might have. The family did a lovely renovation job here. We hope to come back soon.
