Perfect! Great to have beautiful sandy beach access in front of the house, especially in an area that can have a lot of rocky coastline. House was SO CLEAN -- and not in a "perfumed" way, just clean and fresh! Loved the pillows. Well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend at the beach and redwoods - we never drove more than a half hour to anything, great location. Kids loved the cupboard of games. Hope to stay again some day!

Well maintained and very comfortable and spacious home with no stairs. Well equipped kitchen with quality appliances that worked. Enjoyed the fire table in the yard. Nice addition since the last time we stayed here. Plenty of off street parking with easy access. Perfect location. Only place I would stay when visiting Crescent City.

We had a great time on our trip. Host was very quick to communicate and also was quick to address replacing the BBQ that had issues. Home has great views of the ocean and was very clean. Great storage and ample kitchen/bath amenities as well. Getting to the beach is a short walk down the street and down a few flights of stairs. Would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful view! My husband and I, along with our adult children and spouses stayed here while visiting the Jedidiah Smith Redwood Forest and the Samuel Boardman scenic high way in southern OR. The view of the beach across the street from this VRBO is amazing. This house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed.

Amazing ocean views

This beautiful mid century modern home was very clean and well-equipped and is literally across the road from beach access and the ocean. I really hope we can return to this house for a longer stay so that a can fully experience its comfort and the beauty of its setting.

Great location-but too loud

This home is in a great location. Redwood national and state parks very close by as well as lots of beaches and scenic overlooks. However, the street it’s located on is VERY loud. Lots of huge pickup trucks speeding by around midnight every night and overall too much traffic noise. The home is older but very well maintained. Spotless home with every amenity you could need. Could definitely use new carpet, looks very dirty but clearly has been shampooed just needs replacing.

Lovely, Even in Inclement Weather

My sister and I took our elderly dad to the coast for Valentine's, deciding to spend the day with the first man to ever love us, and whom we ever loved. Dad has gotten where he gets cold easily, so he doesn't enjoy the beach anymore because he gets cold and he has balance issues, so being able to sit in the living room and watch the ocean is really perfect. Our only hitch was that a previous guest had turned of the heat, and because it is radiant floor heating it takes a LONG time to heat up, which was not ideal for Dad. Once it warmed up though, the whole stay was great. We will be back!

Fantastic View

A very spacious, open floor plan with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the view. Very clean and it had all the necessary amenities. Delicious coffee and the makings for s’mores was a very nice touch. : ). It was kinda rainy so we really didn’t have a chance to use the fireplace.

Journey through the Redwoods

This house was perfect! Hosts provided everything you needed for a wonderful vacay. We stayed 3 days and did not want to leave. The ocean was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the spacious living room listening to the sea lions and ocean.This home was our base as we toured the Redwoods each day. We would definitely stay here again.

Repeat Retreat

This house is a family favorite. We had a little hiccup at check in, but the host was right on it. The floor plan is awesome for both kids and adults. The view out the living room windows can't be beat. We used the fire pit and the barbeque and once again had a wonderful stay. Hosts are responsive and kind. Everything is well stocked. We will be back for sure!

Great stay to visit the Redwoods

This was perfect location for our family of 6, ages 11-19. The redwoods were easily accessed for hikes as well as having the ocean out the front door. The house provided skim boards that kept my teenagers occupied for hours. The house was well stocked with games, supplies, and resources. We used their redwood resource information to plan most of our hikes, thank you so much. The house maintained but dated. We would highly recommend this property.
