”A really great stay. The only thing lacking was a view but the unit was fantastic. Everything is new and the location is great. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and groceries. Everything needed was provided and the host provided lots of ideas on things to do. Highly recommended!”

”We stayed at the Whale Watcher for 5 nights and the condo was tastefully decorated and located within an easy drive to the Oregon Redwoods. The condo is closer to a road than we thought it would be from the pictures so there was road noise we hadn’t expected but it was a minor issue for us as we could still hear the waves and the noise wasn’t noticeable at night. We are already planning to come back to this property!”

”Once you open that door and walk into the property, you are captivated by the views. Then you look around and realize that where you are staying, sleeping and cooking is pretty special as well. The condo is well appointed, top shelf towels, bedding and entertainment options. What an experience and if you are traveling to Brookings, this IS the place to stay.”

”Title says it all about this place. The view of the coast is absolutely amazing. Words do not give that view justice, especially given the placement of the property (third floor corner, angled so it's difficult to see the balconies of the other buildings in the complex). Stayed with spouse and mother-in-law and every extra minute we had was spent admiring the view. The rest of the property was perfectly fine for our needs. Incredibly spacious though slightly dated--not an issue by any means,...

”We only stayed one night. The condo was very cute, clean, and well-maintained. Bigger than we expected too! The only drawbacks were the condo was on a busy street, and parking was on the street or in an open dirt lot. We were a little concerned with security/break-ins since we had some stuff stored in our car from our roadtrip and there were people out on the street late at night (I’m guessing homeless). Turned out fine though.”

”Our stay at By the sea was wonderful. Valerie was very communicative and eager to please. The condo was immaculately clean. I greatly appreciated that. Everything you could possibly need was readily available. The trail going to the beach was slightly challenging at times but well worth the trip down. We are very pleased with the condo and had great weather. Thank you, Valerie for being so accommodating.”

”We had a nice stay at this condo for 4 nights. Perfect size for our family of 4. (2 adults, kids aged 17 and 19). Very pleasant neighbors. Fully stocked kitchen and SUPER COMFY beds and bedding. We were thankful for the garage, it was perfect for storing our bikes. Just a note about the stairs that you must climb to the main living area of the condo…was fine for us but may not be suitable for everyone. We had a small issue with TV remotes (batteries dead) but manager rushed some right over....

”We all loved the views from the window and back patio. The trail down to the beach was beautiful. The house was nice but wasn’t very clean. We were left without detergent for the dishwasher and the kitchen has a major ant problem. The floors were very dusty and dirty. Seems like it could use a good deep cleaning. Other than that it was really nice.”

”Every possible want was met. This was deluxe accommodations! It was cozy, modern, thoughtful. Brook is great at communication. The view was incredible, and the viewing alcove was awesome! We all want to come back!”

”We were only there for a brief overnight but the unit was so comfortable I wished we were staying longer! We got dinner to go from the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed it along with an evening breeze at the dining table. The bed was very comfortable. The unit was very clean and I appreciated that we didn't have to do anything but leave in the morning. No need to strip bed, take out garbage etc. I would definitely reccomend this property and would stay again if we find ourselves back in Crescent...

”Aneka's place is perfect to access Jedediah Smith Redwood Forest. The guest quarters accommodated three of us very comfortably. Aneka stocked it with all the essentials and more, including fresh eggs from her chickens. (Close the bedroom window or use a white noise machine or her rooster will greet you bright and early.) She keeps the place very clean and gave us keys to come and go easily. We cooked a meal for ourselves, made easy with all the pots and pans available. Best of all for us,...

”We had a wonderful experience at this property. The house was clean and well kept. The fenced backyard was perfect for our small dog and 2-year-old. Plenty of space for us to relax and beach access was a few minutes walk away. The manager made sure we had everything we needed and I'm sure would have been quick to respond to any issues, though we had none during our 5 nights stay. Highly recommended!”
