”Very tired old property. When they showed us the room it first reminded me of one of the servant quarters in a recent historic house tour. We booked a classic double.
The room was damp, full of dusty furniture and the bed mattress springs were gone. There was a tiny window with a view to nothing.
We lasted 10 mins and left.
The manager gave us lots of options, one being the same room type and the other being the front door with just an apology and no refund offered.

”Everything was exceptional. The hospitality from Graham and Sheena was second to none. We got lost our first night out and after a quick call, Graham got us back on track and was actually on his way out to find us when we turned up the drive! That is the level of hospitality provided.
