”We enjoyed our first stay at Bay View Inn. Even though it’s an older hotel it was exactly what we were looking for. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the complimentary beer and snack hour was just perfect before going out to dinner. We would definitely stay here again. ”

”Dinner was excellent. Continental breakfast has limited selection and does not seem to have variety from day to day. Nice options for breakfast/brunch nearby in Petoskey. Very unique property with friendly and helpful staff.”

”Love this property for its cozy, historic ambiance and the beautiful views. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The only thing I would change is the dining options. The Rose room is wonderful for breakfast and it would be great if you could have a nice dinner there as well. The Noggin room is fun in its own way but not exactly a dining destination.”

”Everything about this hotel was fantastic, except a couple of things. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t available for most of our stay which was disappointing. Also, the person working the cash register at the bistro was pretty rude when we corrected her on an order after she herself made two mistakes on it. Like we were inconveniencing her for her own mistake. Not the older woman. She was sweet! It was the younger woman. Christine or Christina I believe. Like, maybe quit if you hate your job so...

”Nice inexpensive hotel. Kind staff. Basic clean hotel room. Dated decor in public spaces. Shower curtain unfortunately did not stay inside the shower curb and water always puddled on bathroom floor. The inside of the bathroom door is deteriorating because of this. I would stay here again.”

”A very pleasant surprise. This is a very 'value-centric' place to lay your head. Very clean, accommodating check in process, Close to all needed stuff (food, gas, etc). Proximity to Burt Lake State Park is great! It is a bit noisy in the morning due to existing on a main road - not the Owners' fault. Not disappointed in the least. ”
