”Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.”

”It’s a very cute place and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was very clean. If you’re visiting from the US, just know that there’s no air conditioning, just an oscillating fan. And for some reason they don’t use flat sheets, just a down comforter, which is far too hot without AC. I had to leave very early and no one was there and the front door was locked.
