”Great stay for 1 night when heading south.”

”This was our third visit to the Fisherman's Cot and the first time for an overnight stay. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices and very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and polite. We stayed in an annex which was OK but the outside fabric of the building is in need of renovation. Room was fine and clean, although bath panel was heavily water damaged. There is scope to improve decor (pictures on the wall for example) to give a more homely feel”

”For one night as a pass through to home, it was ok. But we will not be back. Pros- child friendly, suite was a good size, friendly owner. The bed was comfy and there is a Roku to be able to get a lot of channels. Breakfast was decent. Although it’s between 8-9 which was a bit early for us after a long day and then having to go looking for dinner and getting the kids settled. Trying to get them up for breakfast was hard. Cons- dog wee’s on the floor and even when told, it’s not even covered....

”Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.”

”Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. It looked really run down albeit unique with a throne at one of the tables. If you struggle with mobility, the car park is between 5 - 10 mins walk away. Not a...

”Hotellin yleistilat nuhjuiset ja epäsiistit, huone puolestaan kaiketi vastikään uusittu ja sisustus oli siisti, joskin ei sopinut hotellin tunnelmaan ollenkaan. Ikkunoista veti paljon ja liikenteen melu oli todella iso ongelma. Yöllä ei saanut nukuttua edes korvatulppien kanssa. Aamiainen oli myöhässä ja hieman sekava, emme tienneet mikä osa aamiaisesta kuului huoneen hintaan ja mikä ei.”
