”Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. They eventually resolved the issue and we managed to sleep, despite the very hard bed In the morning, the kettle was not working so we couldn't...

”Good spa, nice breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel has easy parking and check in was good. They weren’t able to manage a 30 minute extension on the room which was disappointing. The food and service in the bar was excellent.”

”The place itself was immaculate. However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities.”

”On arrival we noticed the bin in the room had not been emptied. There was only two tea bags and three milk sachets. Everything else was quite good. Plenty of room and a comfortable bed.”

”The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”

”Really enjoyable one-night stay. The hotel did everything well. From the efficiency and friendliness of the staff at reception; nicely decorated and comfortable rooms; a tasty dinner in a nice environment; and a very good buffet breakfast. They really didn’t put a foot wrong. The room was a little warm, but we are in the middle of a heatwave. And although the room didn’t have air conditioning they helped out by putting a fan in the room.”
