”the room is clean and all but i was in my bra in my room with the light shade down you could still see through it if you were close up and some guy came and started cleaning the windows i got no warning from staff or anything and i was basically in my underwear”

”Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’m not a picky traveler, but this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered, the room had a strong, unbearable odor and clearly had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom had visible dirt and hair, the floors were filthy, and even my child’s feet turned black after walking on them. ”This was a nice hotel with clean rooms but we had a couple of issues with maintenance that were not resolved as quickly as they could have been. The property is not within walking distance of anything as there are no sidewalks so had to drive everywhere.”

”Room not very clean found two types of bugs in our room. Was told hotel was totally sold out and we couldn’t extend our stay and it wasn’t sold out. Then Expedia said there were rooms but I would have to do a new order and get yet another hotel mandated card hold. The breakfast was also terrible and when your family is facing something terrible, this was the last thing we needed”

”I loved the location of this property - it was right where I wanted to be. The property is in decent shape and has been renovated. The breakfast was adequate but not too many choices. The only complaint I had is that there were ants - a couple in my bed and some at the coffee station in the breakfast room. I also had to kill a black spider and something that looked like a silverfish in the bathroom over the course of my 3 night stay. I probably won't book this propert again.”

”The Brinckerhoff Inn is a beautiful historic property that has been beautifully restored. The personal attention given to us by Bob was second to none. He takes great pride in his inn and loves to share the interesting history of this region. He prepared a wonderful breakfast and welcomes you into the house as if it’s your own. If you are in the area, you must make sure to stay at this house!”

”If I could rate this a 0 I would. Place smelled like cigarettes and weed even though there are no smoking signs everywhere. Asked to be moved and the desk said it smells like that everywhere. People in the lobby during check in were talking about selling drugs and asking people if they wanted drugs. Guy at desk did not acknowledge it. TV and wifi did not work. Also a blanket on the bed had a giant red stain and we folded it and put it in the closet. After checking out we were accused of stealing...

”Being in a Historical hotel and the up keep good”

”Stayed here with my team for work and we thought it was great. The rooms are very spacious and that personally thought the beds were very comfortable. We used the pool and the weight room and the breakfast had a great variety of things. The pool does get used with different swim clubs so it’s not always available. The hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and other things so it works perfect and the staff was also very nice and helpful. I’m hoping to be back next week.”

”Room was clean, price was reasonable. Check in is 4:00 pm, I got there at 3:30 pm. Although the room was ready, I was asked did I want to pay extra to check in early. I have never experienced that before if the room is ready. Not a good start to my stay.”

”The pool was closed, along with the restaurant, which we were not aware of. When we walked the trails to sit at a scenic location, branches and shrubs blocked our view. When we showered, there was half empty bottles of body wash, shampoo and other showering necessities. This was $600 a night. Totally not worth it at this time.”
