”It was strange and uncomfortable that the bathroom was in the same room as the living room. No privacy. It was also a little annoying when the room key only worked once. Then you had to go and recode the key.”

There was a power outage in the valley when we stayed but it was no issue as they had a back up generator. The owners and staff made sure everyone was comfortable with the limited power and still managed to cook the most amazing meals. Rooms were spacious and perfect location to the airport. ”I was bumped over to Movenpick, the sister hotel to Mercure on the shared property. Rooms at Movenpick have been redone and are nicely fitted out. The gym is awesome. The pool and pool area also awesome. There’s a coffee and pastry shop— excellent. And a nice restaurant whose primary fault is that there are only two fish dishes: Norwegian salmon and prawns. There’s a pizza place located within Mercure.”
