I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. ”Nice room but outside balcony was covered in cobwebs and leaves. Couldn't find a way to turn the heating down and was way too warm in the room. Only one balcony door would open ”

”What a lovely place to stay, an amazing find. Dinner in the bar, fish and steak dishes were excellent, tasty, fresh enjoyed with a fine wine and relaxed with cheese and biscuits afterwards. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. A lovely gentlemen serving breakfast cared to explain the local area. Breakfast food also wonderful. Spa facilities used in the morning and then on our way, beautiful property and very relaxing. Only booked for one night but will definetly return. Truly delightful...

”I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. ”
