The Daintree Ecolodge is an amazing property located in the Daintree Rainforest in northern Queensland, Australia. The oldest rainforest in the world, it's really amazing to sleep high among the trees, listening to the local birdsong and the rain showers.
While staying at the Daintree Riverview join an Argo 8×8 tour through the owner’s cattle property and the Daintree Rainforest. It was wild fun! The girls squealed as we went up really steep and rough terrain, past herds of cattle, and to the hill peaks for sensational views out over the Daintree River and rainforest.
Daintree Village
Take out on a river cruise with Murray Hunt from Daintree Boatman Nature Tours. It is defiantly worth getting up for early in the morning. This is one of the many species that you will find along the river. This is one of the two male crocodiles in this area of the river. His name is Lumpy.

Staff were so welcoming and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay feel special. The room was beautiful and very clean. A nice touch was the on tap sparkling and chilled water in the corridor.

Nice hotel, disappointing service
Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week.
