Great location, great room
Great location and the room was very clean and comfortable - and very spacious. However, the in-room dining was a disappointment (you cannot change a single ingredient in any item in the menu without extra charge + a delivery time of 50 minutes) - hence, didn't use it. Additionally, all noises from the street below could be very well heard in my room (despite it being on the 8th floor), so slightly better acoustic insulation (or similar) would be nice. As a whole, I would however definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. :)

The restaurants were top notch, we definitely made use of the rooftop pool and the staff was superb. Thank you to Amal and Ella for accommodating us, I loved my room and everything was beyond our expectations. This is definitely my go to whenever I’m in Dallas

At first the staff is unable to find my booking even I provided detail of Expedia booking which is scare. I told him this is from Expedia and after 6 mins he can find. Next time Expedia should reach out to hotel to ensure the hotel staff knows how to do job. This gives bad reputation of both hotel and expedia.

We celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary here and there was no mentioning this from the staff. Other places we have stayed in the past there was an effort made to help us celebrate so this was disappointing. Also in the room the mini fridge didn’t work and the handle to the bathroom sink fell off. So we had asked for ice to be brought to the room and they were able to accommodate but then after 30 minutes after the first ice was brought we were interrupted by someone else bring ice to the room. Also the staff wanted to send someone to work on the mini fridge at 7-8 pm. Hard pass, but the person on the phone insisted on sending someone and I had to insist multiple times to keep her from sending someone. Just weird. Also, over cooked and dry food from the restaurant. So not worth the price…

Beautiful hotel and accommodations. We were extremely pleased with the customer service and first impressions. Ashely S. at check-in was one of the most welcoming, friendly and professional advocate I have experienced upon arrival. Her positive attitude and attentiveness made a major impact on our stay after long travels. Customer service goes a long way and people cherish to be treated kindly. the property was nice but small appliances (although small) some were not working which could make a place go from a 8 to a 10 just from little stuff like that. Additionally the hotel is downtown so it’s busy all the time and sometimes not the best crowd.

This place was one of the best in the past. Not sure why they have dropped so much, but not the same. Bell Staff and Valet were still awesome on our Sunday night arrival, but right after we got inside the decline started being apparent…..

We went up for a one night getaway, stayed at he Joule. This was our 2nd time staying and it was just a great as the first. The first time was mid-summer and we googled Texas hotels w unique swimming pools! This time we got tickets to the Eye next door. The Eyeboretum event last night was an amazing , colorful, fun evening and hopefully we can make it next year! CBD restaurant and bar at the Joule is always good and the speakeasy - Cocktails - downstairs is a treat.

Lorenzo was a horrible person used foul language with me and threatened to call police after I spent over $4,000. He called me a slur. I will never EVER be staying here again. He said found additional charges a DAY after I checked out. What a horrible experience. I will never EVER stay here again.

I wasn’t impressed with this property for the price. The treadmills in the gym were squeaky, lighting in the room was dim, the shower head was broke in my bathroom, dining was limited and the coffee shop opened late.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They booked dinner reservations, offered a driver to transport us to our destinations, and left little treats in our room while we were exploring the town. Everyone working there seemed to love their job, which is a huge reflection of how The Joule is ran. We will be returning every anniversary!

The artwork inside is cool. The staff is very friendly. The room was very nice. I think the bathroom was almost as big as the suite. Automatic light settings and shades. The shower is a bit confusing to figure out how to get hot water, but they have instructions on the table and if you look close you can see the hot cold arrows. They are small and hard to see.
