”The host was amazing. The home was a great size for my husband and me to get away for a few days. We did a lot of hiking. It was clean and super cute. You can tell she takes pride in her home. The only downfall is that it is in a corner and it is pretty loud. We would stay there again if needed.”

”Extremely clean property. Was in a good location in the country but a very short distance to Wabash. Beds were comfortable & bathrooms were spotless and roomy. It was great to have washer & dryer. Living room furniture was very comfortable.”

”Did not like the idea that it was called "the cottage", implying it was a cute quaint house in a nice area. It is in an industrial, factory area, that we could hear loudly all night. The neighborhood was sketchy with a bar next to it. Will not go back there.”

I would recommend this home to anyone with a reason to stay in Roanoke! We also enjoyed dinner in town. If we weren't busy with other activities, it would have been fun to explore Roanoke more!”

”We enjoyed the historic setting and understand the challenges of maintaining such a site. The house is unique and of interest. Everyone enjoyed the setting. Cons: One of the showers had a very low flow rate. We were also infested with wasps inside. We killed many! The kitchen was well-appointed. The dining area was comfortable. Offer better descriptions of the rooms. Two bedrooms shared the same shower, separated by adjoining shower doors. Great neighborhood with park near by. Conveniently...
