Soul Surfing III June 2023: Breathtaking Sunset Island Views & Private Beach

  • Soul Surfing III-Completed in June 2023. Property includes a private beach area located on the bay with a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico from the front porch area. Located in the town of Dauphin Island also known as the Sunset Capital of Alabama. Gorgeous split floor plan with beautiful views of the water from the living/dining/and kitchen areas. Sleeps 15 comfortably. 5 large bedrooms and 3 full baths. Fully equipped with many extras including all kitchen appliances, linens, towels, and outdoor gas grill. Bedrooms 2 and 3 include king sized beds and have private entrance and exits through French doors that open to the spacious back porch. The bedrooms and back porch area have some of the best views of the spectacular sunsets on Dauphin Island. Bedroom 1 includes another king-sized bed with a gulf view. Bedroom 4 contains two sets of full-sized bunk beds which are perfect for the kids. Bedroom 5 includes a full and twin sized bunk. A Nex Playground interactive system increase the additional family fun. All bedrooms and living areas have Smart TV's. WiFi is included. Home has highchair and playpen for smaller children. Please note: A starter pack of essentials are provided. This includes: one small bottle of dish detergent, two dishwasher pods, a small bottle of washing machine detergent, one 4-pack of toilet paper, a few garbage bags, and small toiletries to get you started. Please pack salt, pepper, and other spices. The housekeepers remove opened containers after each visit to stay in compliance with our safety guidelines. Please be advised of the following information prior to placing a Reservation: Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 23. Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay. Maximum Occupancy numbers include children and cannot be exceeded at any time. All of our homes are Non-Smoking and Pet Friendly with a paid pet fee.

This property was exactly as described! It was perfect for our families to get together and enjoy the water and relax. We loved being close to both the bayside and the gulf side. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We will definitely be coming back again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and looked brand new. It was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The bay views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.The only tip for future guests is to bring plenty of bug spray if you plan to spend time outdoors—the mosquitoes can be pretty intense this time of year.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable getaway!

We enjoyed the beautiful, breezy mornings on the bay and crossed the street in the late afternoons to get more waves on the gulf side. The house was spacious and clean, furniture was comfy. I appreciated the hose annd grill under the house and the games for the kids inside. There is an interesting “pond” feature behind the house with a wooden bridge to cross over to get on the beach. This was a great place for sunset pictures. The host was easy to reach.

The property was perfect for our family! Plenty of space. Location was wonderful! Step off the deck to the beach and close to town. The host is very responsive. We highly recommend this property!

Very nice home with close proximity to the beach. We loved it there. It was the first time our kids had been to the beach and we will definitely return.

The property was excellent! The private bay side beach was so much fun for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. This property is not good for elderly family members, due to the stairs. The only downside was not being able to spend time on the grounds due to being attacked ferociously by the mosquitoes. This is the third time at Dauphin Island and have never had that problem.

This property was simply amazing! The location was great - close to the west end beach and the little pond and bay access were a great little private getaway and kids could run to and from the house as needed. beautiful views from both front and back porches and plenty of seating to just sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. Completely enjoyed our time and can’t wait to go back!

House and property were fabulous. Glad we brought the kitchen equipment that we did, house was lacking in that area. But, everything else was great! The beach is fun, but understand that the bay side is much different than the gulf side. Worked out great for younger kids, it’s calmer. It was really cool getting all the fun of a beach vacation but also seeing nature. Hermit crabs, dolphins, and blue crabs plus birds all over.

The property and the house itself are wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the customer support from DHD Properties LLC left a lot to be desired.The front door lock is tricky, and when we arrived, we called and texted for help getting into the house. It took an hour and a half to receive a response, which is a long time to be sitting on the front porch waiting to get inside.A few weeks before our stay, I also sent a message asking how to access the Gulf side. That question wasn't answered for more than four days.The home is excellent, but the property management company's communication and responsiveness need significant improvement. They should consider improving their customer support system—whether through better staffing, a different management company, or even AI-assisted support—so guests can get timely assistance when they need it most.

Beautiful house right on the bay!!!

This place is amazing! Beautifully decorated, beds and pillows were comfortable, everything we needed to cook. The bay side is less than a 5 minute walk from the back of the house! The beach right across the street. My family and friends had a great time!

Quick Weekend Trip

We only stayed for the weekend, but wished we could stay longer. Everything was perfect. The location and views of the gulf and bay were exactly what we wanted. The property was clean and spacious. We will definitely return.

Wonderful!

The property was absolutely wonderful. We like to find places where we can slow down in life, and we found it here! The home was very well kept, clean and tidy. We enjoyed watching the kids play all day on the bay! We will be back soon!

Perfect Location!

We had a huge group stay for 5 nights and it was perfect! Such a beautfiul spot!! Beach is right across the street, and backyard is the bay! The only complaint I would have is that there weren’t enough towels for our stay. Definitely will be coming back!!

Wonderful!

This property is truly amazing. Beautiful, clean, and spacious... we didn't want to leave! We've been coming to DI for about 20 years and this has been our favorite property. We will be back!!
