”Delightful staff and modern facilities in a picturesque setting. The room was spacious and very comfortable with all the necessary equipment available. Dinner at the restaurant was absolutely perfect and delicious. Being surrounded by dogs is always great, too. ”

”What a lovely cosy, friendly place to stay. A good choioce for breakfast (full English was delicious using local ingredients) in the dining area with the log fire on. The staff are so nice and really make you feel welcome. Plenty of free parking outside accomodation and lots of walks nearby. Thankyou for an enjoyable weekend break.”

”The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. ”

”This hotel is located in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous garden. The rooms are charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day and the bar in the evening. Nice wine selection! Its a great locattion for visiting Chatsworth House and the beautful scenery of the Peak Distict.”

The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag. The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!”

”Todella mieluisa paikka varsinkin liikematkalaiselle. Aamupala normaalisti klo 7 alkaen, mutta henkilökunta järjesti aikaisemmin, joka oli mieluista. Lisäksi alakerran ravintola ja baari ovat todella viihtyisiä. Pitkän työpäivän jälkeen ei tee mieli matkata kauas, joten alakerta oli todella mieluisa. Puhumattakaan hyvästä ja kohtuu hintaisesta ruuasta.”

Lots of little luxuries such as fresh milk in the rooms along with hand creams, automatic bathroom lighting, complimentary glass of bubbles, in a environment that is an oasis of calm. The staff were very hospitable and warm and the restaurant food was great. A really fabulous stay.”
