Vieraile kauniissa Daytonissa, Tennessee!

Tämä kellarikerros sijaitsee naapurustossa 3 mailin päässä pääsystä Chic-järvelle ja TN-joelle (Dayton-venelaituri). Tulitpa tänne kalastamaan, käy oikeustalossa (ja Scopes Trial Play heinäkuussa) kilpailemassa Ft. Bluff tai vierailevat Bryan Collegessa, tämä talo sijaitsee kätevästi joka paikkaan. Ajotie on riittävän suuri käsittelemään 3 tai 4 kuorma-autoa vetävää venettä, ja takakansi on valtava (sisältää kaasugrillin). Keittiö ei ole täydellinen keittiö, mutta pesuallas, jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni, leivänpaahdinuuni, leivänpaahdin ja kahvinkeitin ovat mukana sekä astiat ja ruokailuvälineet.

Asun yläkerrassa, olen hiljainen, ja puistoin talon edessä, joten vierailla on täysi ajotie ja takakansi.

Kuusi nukkuu mukavasti. Tupakointi sisätiloissa eikä lemmikkieläimiä sallittu. Yli kuudessa (ei sukulaisissa) on lisämaksuja.

Went down for a vacation of 4days 3 nights.. Had a negative experience with this stay, The host entered the property with out letting us know and texted afterwards. The host lives above the property which usually isn't a issue, but the hoat at all hours of the night you can hear them watching tv and talking and walking back and forth. Laundry was done while there from the host could be heard in the bottom part of house which made it impossible to rest. All dishes that we tried to use was dirty. The TV in the livingroom has 5 remotes that we was unable to use to turn on TV until we figured out which one to use. The TV in backroom is inoperable. Water pressure in shower is horrible. To top it off looking for towels we was then surprised with a roach that we did take pics of. There was specific instructions left to contact host if we need to trip a breaker back bc you couldn't run 2 things at once. Will not be staying here again

We only got to stay one night (just passing through) but our experience was wonderful. The bedrooms were very roomy, and the beds were comfortable. My youngest liked there were some toys to play with, and the bookshelf was well stocked (sadly, we didn't have time to read any books). There were also plenty of DVDs throughout the property.The back deck was large, and it was a wonderful place to sit and look at the stars. This property wasn't fancy, but it was clean, and had everything a person, group or family would need to spend a few days exploring Dalton TN (for a town I had never heard of, it's very cute with lots to explore).Pat was a wonderful host, and answered questions quickly, and gave us lots of options for food (we ended up at 1st Ave Pizza). My only complaint is that the couch wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but that's a minor thing really.

Fishing trip

This is an awesome little place very well appointed woth a 70s vibe and a beautifully view. The owner had left suggestions about places to eat and attractions to see. Bathroom was fully stocked even new toothbrush. The kitchen also coffee, sweetner hot tea and more .

Definitely recommend

The house was prefect for us. We had small kids and there are even toys , playpen, and other things to help make stay more comfortable. The owner is very nice and helpful. We seen 8 deer on the property one morning . Beautiful area. Have stayed twice and will stay again

Our fishing trip

Very beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood . Furnished very nice with everything you need plus extras ! Enjoyed getting to see the deer early in the morning and in the evening. Wonderful porch with plenty of seats and tables to enjoy the outside . Highly Recommend

Family getaway-

positives: Pat was wonderful to communicate with, prompt to reply to messages and very kind. The bedding was clean. The fridge is a good size. The location is beautiful and the amenities were accurate per the listing. Challenges: before arriving we had requested a dehumidifier in the unit. Pat was quick to assure us she would put one in, and she did. The problem arose when we got there and the dehumidifier was not turned on. The place was *very* musty and gave more than one of us a headache upon arrival. We understand that with humid climate there will be some dampness, this was more than “some”. The lights didn’t all work, so it was dark and hard to utilize the kitchenette. We did reach out to Pat and she said she knew about the lights but hadn’t had time for someone to come in a fix those and other repair needs she was aware of. The space was not very clean (spider webs, spiders, dirty floors, 2 cockroaches..). We were *not* expecting spotless by any means (our own home isn’t spotless) and we also understand a cleaning fee is added to the cost of a stay for a reason. We would kindly encourage a more thorough, detailed cleaning job. This space worked for the 2 nights we were in the area, though we would not book here again for our family. I want to reiterate that Pat was VERY pleasant to work with, the space itself would benefit from some deeper cleaning, better lighting and a consistent dehumidifier running.

Great location close to boat launch

Little steep getting boat in and out of driveway but doable. Nothing fancy inside it's a basement type area so a bit on the dark side but it suited our needs and price so no complaints here .
