When we arrived after 10pm we were given the key card to our room and when we opened the door it was a king bed with a couch, though we reserved two queen beds. Also, after being in the room for a few minutes we noticed how dirty it was. We noted stains on the bed, curtains and shower curtain. Also, cobwebs, dirt and small hairs in the sink, toilet and bed. Many pictures were taken. We immediately went back to the front desk and explained that we reserved two beds since there was three adults and also about the condition of the room. I was told yes we reserved two queens but that’s all they had. Also, nothing about the condition of the room. I informed them that we will not be staying but since it was so late we would be checking out first thing in the morning, which we did. They mentioned at that time I had to contact Expedia because we booked through them. I did immediately and they said they would get back to me. Well after several conversations with Expedia and the hotel, they are both saying it’s the other that won’t refund. Absolutely unacceptable. I will absolutely be looking into this further. We will most definitely never use Expedia or stray at a Comfort Inn again.
