”Delusions of grandeur. A very small room with barely enough room to open a suitcase, slightly shabby decor. So many cushions on the bed that when you removed them they took up most of the available floor space! Bathroom ok but nowhere to put toiletries. Dinner ok, but nothing special. It was all “ok” but disappointing compared to the hype on the website.”

”This quirky stay was right up our street, accommodation was clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, the views were beautiful and a relaxing and calm environment. the staff were so accommodating and pleasant with great sense of humour and genuine people. We will definitely book here again on our travels. I can't fault our stay in any way.”

”Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location. Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs. The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.”
