”Room carpet was dirty. Bathroom smelled like pee and it looked gross, too, plus door knobs were degraded. There was no DND sign for the door. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and awful for people with dietary restrictions. They made me scrambled eggs without milk as requested, but it was inedible due to being undercooked. Who likes stringy (like snot) egg whites in scrambled eggs? Emailed for support, didn't reply. Tried talking to them, they didn't care.”

”Spa and pool were excellent used both . No air conditioning in our Deluxe room and the Dyson fan just didn’t help much at all . Shame really . Breakfast was good one day and not quite so good the next day ( different chefs they said ) . All staff at the 3 properties were really helpful especially the chauffeuse .”

”A minor mistake made while booking turned my experience into a complete nightmare. Because of my dyslexia I booked Friday night instead of Saturday night (made the booking the night before, on Thursday). I got an email on Friday asking me how my stay was going, and I realised a mistake had been made. I then spent three hours (!) on the phone trying to resolve the situation, going round the houses. I had booked the room through Expedia because of this, neither the hotel nor Expedia wanted to...

”We had a very last minute booking, but the staff were very attentive and accommodating. The room was good and spacious, located in the annex, it did not have bath, but we were OK with the shower. The food is good, the breakfast was lovely, however continental part has no porridge and no cheese/charcuterie, just corn and other flakes and bread and jam and some small pastries. Beautiful location, building, good and comfy beds and good service”
