”Room could use some updating, there was rust around the tub faucet, and Grey stuff was trickling down from under it. The carpet should be replaced with a floor that won't harbour germs. Saw one beetle on bed. Pull out couch needs to be replaced. Thermostat numbers are not well visualized, and it was very hot in room. Overpriced considering everything. Breakfast was good.”

”I booked my stay at Wingate for a very costly $350 a night for a King suite -- the cheapest room they had available at the time. I am guessing that the higher cost may be because my flight fell during Calgary Stampede. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, except for the intermittent noise (footsteps, whirring noises, things slamming) that interrupted my sleep sometimes. The hotel could use better sound-proofing. ”I stayed at this hotel while on vacation with my child, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. During our stay, my child was bitten repeatedly by mosquitoes, causing significant swelling and discomfort. I reported the issue to the hotel staff, but my complaint was ignored, and no action was taken to address the problem or assist us. This lack of concern for guest safety and customer service was unacceptable. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

”This is a very old property. No elivators so we had to carry out luggage to 2nd floor and get it back down from stairs. Parking is on roadside right opposite to a park. The carpet of the hotel is very dirty you need to clean your feet if you step on it without footwear. I booked a standard room for 3. The room had 1 double bed and a single bed. To our surprise the wash basin is right beside the single bed outside the washroom. I have never see a hotel room with wash basin outside. So you get...
