”Lovely staff but unfortunately the room is not fit for purpose, food is decent Was showed room 8 but window broken (35 degree heat) & was given option for room9 a twin. *hole in floor trip hazard *curtain didnt open/close properly *no side lqmp* *Sheets scratchy *broken floor tiles en suite *shower rusty Was given a fan v grateful for but filthy & throwing off bits, cleaned it but not acceptable”

”Receptionist was so rude on arrival she didn't know about our booking and made me sign a piece of paper with print too small to read before giving us the key to our room. Telling my concerned partner that it was something to do with being added to marketing list for emails. When we paid for our room my partner & I expected to be able to use all the facilities described on your website. However we arrived to find the hotel full of drunken wedding guests. Empty beer bottles were all over the place...

”Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...

”This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. Google Maps doesn't pin the location precisely, so look for the sign. We also recommend Köz Turkish Restaurant for a fabulous evening meal, Cafe N Joy for a simple...

”Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.”

The bar is open well seated and out side sitting area. the external fabrication could do with improving for a better welcoming. Unfortunately stairs were a bit much travelling to our room accommodation. But it's only @8 times in a day.Try ground floor. Shower pressure quite low, toilet floor needs a better clean.
