”It's an old building with very cozy rooms, not a shiny new resort with a pool and gym. Instead you get a building that fits the area and makes you feel welcome to the area. The rooms offer gorgeous views across the river, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are spotless. The I wish we could have stayed a little longer and taken advantage of the common room with the fireplace and met some of the other guests.”

Even the guests passing by during tea service were so kind and pleasant. The food will take you to another universe — it is that good! I’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants, and their meals don’t even compare to what’s served here. The rooms look exactly like the pictures — even better in person — and everything was spotless. I highly recommend staying here!”

”We stayed in the "Barn", which was not in the Inn, but closeby. Room was clean, place was quiet(well, it WAS winter:). Nearby restaurant Smithville Inn was within walking distance and had excellent food. Fun bar within walking as well and great stores. Very sweet personnel at front desk and check in/check out was easy.”
