”We arrived for the breakfast at 8:20 (closes at 9:00). We didn’t expect all options would be available at that time, but there was very little left. We got bagels and cream cheese at Starbucks instead.”

”It was apparent the sheets were soiled. Last time we will stay at these motels.”

”The staff here is amazing!! They went above and beyond to help us when we realized there was no elevator and we couldn’t get to the 2nd floor. The location was convenient and I would stay here again.”

”This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good.”

”Very clean and comfortable and close to Washburn! Very reasonably priced! Maybe add some curtains to help cut back on the brightness in the bedrooms at night from security lights but would highly recommend this hotel!”

”AC was effective and quiet. Pillows were not very comfortable. Would have liked a couple firm and a couple soft. I liked having the choice of eggs and sausage at breakfast. OJ was good.”

”The first positive about this stay was the check-in. We arrived at 1 a.m. and had no issues checking in. The gentleman at the desk was nice and quickly got us to our room. The second positive was the shower water was hot and had good water pressure. However, there was a cockroach our room when we turned the light on. The bed was hard, and uncomfortable. I can sleep on just about anything but this was an old spring matress that needs to be thrown away. I went down for the continental breakfast...

”The slot machines sucked.. the huge pool was one of the main reasons I went there, come to find out was not deep enough for adults. You couldn't drink or smoke there by the pool. It was for the little kids not adults. We left A day early. And the buffet was pretty empty. Never going back there.”

”Looks like an old Fairfield Inn hotel. TV did not work in room. Outlets on side of bed did not work. Room had fridge and microwave. Pool was shutdown. Not worth saving a couple of bucks to stay here.”

”The room was advertised to have a hot tub and they did not. The breakfast was not ready on time when I needed to leave early.”

”This is an older hotel, well situated near two interstate highways (I-70 and I-470) There is an excellent Texas Roadhouse restaurant within walking distance across the street. The room I had was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the hot water in the bath/shower. All I could ever get out of it was warm water, although the water in the sink was hot. It seemed to be an issue with the control valve for the bath/shower. The air conditioning functioned well.”

”My wife wanted a Bloody Mary but when we went down to get her one they said the bar doesn’t open until four or five he wasn’t sure and this was a Saturday morning????”
