”Great stay.”

”Didn’t realize the hotel was on an island and that the only way to get to it was only through ONE road. The parking was fenced in and gated. I don’t travel to Portland very much and this area was kinda sketchy.”

”The ladies at the front desk were amazing and we went for my son 6th birthday and they treated him so well they said happy birthday to him and just let him be him. Everyone was so wonderful. My husband said we should get this hotel for now on. And agree with him. Best vacation in a long time.”

”The bathroom in particular was not clean. The shower curtain was moldy and made tge bathroom smell terrible when the door was shut for a period of time. The baseboard around the bathroom was filthy with dust and hair. To top it off the shampoo and conditioner containers in the shower were empty. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were nice and professional and took our feedback well, which is important.”

”The guy at the front desk was rude and really not helpful regarding rooms and reservations, overall horrible experience and the front of the office is also under construction which just makes the mess an eyesore to look at along with the homeless/druggies roaming around in the parking lot felt uncomfortable I left within 2 hrs. If I could ZERO stars!”

”There was a situation where I was followed by someone on a morning walk nearby the hotel and as soon as I entered the hotel and asked for them to help me, the 2 men at the front desk quickly helped by one going outside to find the man and one immediately calling the police. I felt safe and cared for and although Portland has some bad eggs roaming around I would stay here again because of how safe and cared for the staff made me feel. ”I usually enjoy my stays at Hampton Inna, but this one was a bit of a letdown. While valet parking is nice, it was a little awkward for my needs on this occasion. The beds were also a little too soft (perhaps time for a new mattress?). While there was really nothing wrong to specifically point to, after a long day of traveling, it just didn't quite meet the mark I usually associate with Hampton Inn.”

”Loved the PNW feel. There is a totem pole in the lobby. There are speakers in the hallways playing bird calls. The furniture appears to be made from wooden sticks. Enjoyed the “Dances With Wolves motif “. Very nice stay! We’ll definitely stay there again when visiting my sons in Vancouver and Portland from Virginia!”
