”Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, no daily housekeeping but it’s affordable for what u get and you can ask for a towel refresh. Breakfast and managers snack with complimentary daily drink from bar was an amazing touch. I really enjoyed the safe gated parking lot for our car. Pool was small and always full but still enjoyable stay would stay again. Great service from front desk and all other staff. AC in room worked great. ”
”The Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets.”
”My husband, daughter and I were traveling back home and stayed one night because we know courtyard by Marriott from past trips. We are so happy we stayed at this hotel. My husband is disabled and they allowed us to check in early, we got a room on the top floor with a balcony and a beautiful view. We will be staying here again for sure. We loved the gated garage as well. Parking $15 but worth it.”

”Very helpful, pleasant staff, very good lighting in parking area, liked the security of requiring a cardkey for entry, excellent water pressure, nice breakfast.
Suggest more consistent or double security for the property to better deter the non-guests frequenting the property, or maybe a high electric-gate and surrounding fence. The security responded quickly to the persons looking inside cars but maybe double security or a gate will help.
