”Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants”

”A very quirky hotel with plenty of character. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast presented a good choice and the eving menu had a number of choices. Room was a little dated but to be expected in a castle. Peacocks everywhere!! Village centre is very quiet with a number of units closed. Work was taking place on the central mm aren't square so a little unkempt and inaccessible.”

”Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. Restaurant menu was limited but is being updated and the prices were reasonable, as was the bar. Breakfast was enough to keep you going for the day. Never got to use the pool but looked inviting. ”The rooms / bathroom need a real boost. Its old..beds are far to small for " normall size" people. There is a seperate cold and hot water in the sink.???? The outside does not tell how the inside of the rooms are. You can here the people in the room next to you.”

”Very good customer service with personal welcome by licensee supported by a helpful and friendly team. Clean room and comfy bed - fan provided but thankfully quite a cool room. Varied supper menu, generous portions, all freshly cooked. Good cask beer and excellent choice of reasonably priced wines. Pleasant outdoor seating area. Small brightly coloured breakfast room with simple but hot, freshly cooked breakfast. Limited parking but next door forecourt available until 9am as well as church car...

”We can see from the hotel that the owners have not long took over. the room was clean and had enough room to move about. The windows need another curtain as we had to pin the middle curtain down to block out the light. The bathroom has be updated .but the shower cubicle could do with an extra clean in the corners . The kettle could do with being put higher as I had to get on my knees to brew up lol. And lastly the bed was very comfy but please add a few more pillows as the ones that were there...
