”Easy parking, a warm welcome by staff willing to find answers to any questions. Lovely warm clean room with ladings of hot water after a long day at work in the area! Breakfast varied and plentiful to suit all tastes.”

”Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

”We had a wonderful stay. The room was perfect and loved wandering through the gardens and nearby walks despite the weather. Cosy evening by the fireplace, red wine and board games. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and festive. Fantastic team of staff and look forward to returning.”

”The B&B Tim and Ken run is one of the best accommodation experiences I've had in Southern England. Stylishly and sensibly renovated rooms with Scandinavian decor, ensuite amenities included, in an intimate environment – meaning that you won't see people coming and going all the time. This is to say that the atmosphere is relaxed. The breakfast is superb with plenty of choices (I'd go for the homemade bagels). Your hosts will also go that extra mile for you. ”Very dated decor ( not necessarily Victorian!) so many higgldy pickdly steps and differing floor levels all over the place. Was a pleasant stay but definitely not for anyone with mobility concern. ”

”Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”

”Wow what a place & wonderful stay. The best place I’ve ever stayed at. Greta service, rooms were immaculate with a stunning view. Upgraded rooms due to an issue but gave me plenty of notice. Breakfast was lovely with really friendly service. Will definitely be back”

”This is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which really stood out. Dinner was excellent but on the pricey side. The cost of the room was also a little higher than I would have expected. Overall I rate the hotel as 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars if the room rates had been a little lower.”

Valitsimme hotellin sijainnin, hinnan ja arvioiden perusteella. "Lähi"nähtävyyksistä kävimme katsomassa Tintagelin linnan ja Dartmoorin kansallispuiston.”
