”This hotel though it has lovely rooms, but is not suitable for any one with mobility issues. The rooms are on the the second floor without lifts. Breakfast was good in quality and choice. Car parking was limited and the spacing tight.”

”The room was nice & clean , a bonus was the air conditioning as it was hot weather . We also ate evening meal there which was ok , breakfast was plentiful with a good choice . We only stayed one night on our way to Scotland & our daughter & family met us there to complete the journey . What was nice was that they were able to park & use the hotel for food / drinks etc . Thankyou we appreciated that 😊”

”We asked for a late check out and even though the hotel was absolutely empty - (we were the only two people at breakfast in a room that could seat 100) the hotel still denied a late checkout (personally I think 11am checkout is too early) so we were charged an extra £20 for a 12pm checkout. When the room costs £500 per night this is totally outrageous. The hotel was empty so it would have been a nice gesture to offer a 1pm checkout given at most high end hotels 12pm is standard. ”Beautiful period property with tall ceilings and all the usual lovely period features. Friendly, helpful staff. Hearty breakfast buffet every morning and evening meals were also very tasty. Stayed in an Executive Room which was very spacious, warm and well kitted out. Biscuits, coffee bags, tea and hot chocolate plus bottle wated provided in the rooms. Fast and efficient check-in and check-out. Would be very pleased to stay again if in the area. Thank you.”
