I called to say that unfortunately I wasn’t going to be able to travel because in my town the streets were closed, so I missed my flight and wouldn’t be needing a place to stay. I called to ask for a refund, but the person who answered wasn’t kind at all and didn’t try to find any solution — they just said it wasn’t possible, and that was it.
After that, I contacted the chat, and they replied, “the lady at the front desk said she already spoke with you.” Still, she told me in a nicer way that there was nothing she could do.
I think it’s unfair that I couldn’t get my money back for a place where I didn’t spend the night — not because of my fault, but because of unforeseen circumstances — and on top of that, to receive poor customer service and be told I needed to speak with “Expedia.”
Do not stay at this place unless you’re absolutely sure, otherwise you won’t get a refund.
