”Clean place”

”Staff were excellent. Very helpful. Food good. However, our room, No.3, was shabby, to say the least. Definitely not value for the price. Mould in the shower. Peeling wallpaper. Toilet window unable to open. Dirty carpet. Burnt arm on heated towel rail when bent down to retrieve towel from floor. No warning notice. Double wall socket peeling from wall. Dirty TV remote held together by sellotape. Small TV with poor sound. Photos support my assertions.”

”The staff was extremely friendly. The place was cosy and convenient, on great location. You can get there easily by public transport and all the best hikes, nature atteactions in the area are reacheable by foot. ”

”What an absolute little slice of paradise! G was a fantastic host making sure we got to our field alright and showed us how everything worked before leaving us too it. We had the most relaxing night looking out at hills by the fire and the hot tub and sauna were an absolute luxury. We were even surprised with how warm the tent got, it was super cosy during the overnight rainstorm and I'm already thinking of when we can get back there already! ”Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.”

”What a deceptively lovely place to stay. The exterior hides the warmth and friendliness inside. Beautifully up to date and simply designed interior. Easy to navigate and super clean. Access to the rooms can be up the fire escape stairs from the rear car park, best for us, or through the bar. And we took advantage of the cutlery and plates offered for our takeaway. Brilliant! The pub has a friendly atmosphere, happy customers and a fab live band played. Do check if there is a live event during...

”Todella mieluisa paikka varsinkin liikematkalaiselle. Aamupala normaalisti klo 7 alkaen, mutta henkilökunta järjesti aikaisemmin, joka oli mieluista. Lisäksi alakerran ravintola ja baari ovat todella viihtyisiä. Pitkän työpäivän jälkeen ei tee mieli matkata kauas, joten alakerta oli todella mieluisa. Puhumattakaan hyvästä ja kohtuu hintaisesta ruuasta.”
