”Really nice stay here during the summer holidays. Lovely view out of our room and the bar was very nice and served decent food, even for us vegans! Would recommend a stay here :)”

”What a lovely little gem of a hotel, absolutely loved staying here, dinner was out of the world followed by such a gorgeous breakfast the next day.. Would 100% return here”

”Over all happy with the stay. It's clean and tidy close to every thing. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Large towls were missing and the hair dryer but were bought to the room as soon as we asked for them. Excellent service. Two down falls. The shower. Large people might struggle to get in the shower as the door hing is 1/5 along the door so the door when opened doesn't hit the toilet. Second issue the road noise. We visited in September so temperature was still warm. You...

”We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.”

”👍”

”Beautiful location, excellent parking and lovely choices of places to eat. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of quality eg coffee choice of bread, granola and much more. It was clear the owner takes pride in the services available. Highly recommended ”

”I stayed 4 nights to go to the Welsh National Eisteddfod. The room was comfortable and the breakfsst good. They provided vegan sausages and oat milk with no problem. On site parking was free. Staff were very pleasant. There was no other meal service than breakfast and only a limited bar service (which I didn’t use) but there is a pub very nearby that serves meals and also a few other eating places.”

”Really nice”

”A very well maintained place and Jayne is lovely”

”The manager, Mac, was very welcoming and took the time to explain the facilities within the hotel. Our room while a little dated, was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and contained a variety of choices. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Recommend staying here.”

”Standard hotel, everything worked as should.”

”We received a warm welcome from the host, with drinks served in the garden on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well presented to a high standard. Breakfast on both days had a wide choice and was delicious with friendly service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this country house hotel to anyone staying in this lovely part of Wales.”

”We loved our stay here. You could instantly tell that the owners cared about the place and want you to have a good stay. Andrea was really lovely and helpful with local recommendations and cooked an amazing breakfast.”

”The room [room 10, double en suite] was nothing like the pictures. First you had to lean on the door to get in cos it's too big for the frame. Then once you are in it smelled like a teenage boys room, sweat and lynx. The carpet was badly worn and peeling off the floor, the cheap divan base was broken so the mattress was either springy or wavy, didn't dare actually look at the mattress... Cobwebs around the window show how long since that was cleaned and general bits of wallpaper coming off the...

”Everything was spot-on had a brilliant time thank you so much once again”
