”It's has got beautiful garden, ideal for relaxing, nice swimming pool, very polite staff and they made any dish as per our choices without any fuss.”

”The room sizes and layout were different for same cost. We had two rooms one was much bigger, spacious and nicer compared to the other even though we paid similar price. Our room door lock didnt work. It took them more than an hour to fix it and it was very hard to open and close the dooreverytime. There was no room keeping no fresh towels were provided.”

”We had a very pleasant three night stay at the Otunna Guest House! Dinesh was the greatest host ever, taking care of us, helping us plan the to-do's around the area and arranging transportations and all. His mother cooked us wonderful meals for breakfast and dinner, and his father taking care of the surroundings. Thank you! Highly recommend this place when staying in Sigiriya area.”

”This hotel is very suitable for couples and also if you are travelling with kids. Rooms are located in semidetached houses, so even if there is families visiting you can get peace and quiet if you are not into kids. Pool is big, and has kid's zone as well. Staff is friendly, and reception persons genuinly willing to help with getting tuktuk or car if you want to go places. Food in the restaurant is good (and you can have steak as well), breakfast is good as well, even though if you are staying...

”Établissement tres soigné. Et tres bien reçu. Une piscine entretenue. Agréable comme étape pour visiter les sites à Dambulla et Sigiriya. Tres bon petit déjeuner Je conseille cet établissement”

”We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic.”

”I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely fantastic. Asela is so helpful and even takes you in his tuk tuk into town should you require anything. The property is beautifully maintained. I recommend that you take advantage of the magnificent tradition Sri Lankan home cooked dinner. It was delicious and and so cheap and we did that twice.”

”This property is so serene and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery. You can see plenty of wild life from peacocks, iguanas to gecko’s, which we got to experience first hand. We were told that sometimes elephants venture and drink from the river further away from the property that can be seen from the rooms, we were unlucky not to see them The staff were all really friendly, kind and accommodating. Lovely, clean swimming pool. We came as a family of 5 to climb Sigiriya and en route to the East...

”The hot water was very weak, hard time getting shower. ”

”A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming...
