”Stayed for 2 nights as it was close to the Mona Art Museum. Although the motel looks dated, I believe this is intentional to give the retro feel. All the facilities in our room worked, and the bed was super comfortable. One of my best sleeps ever. We headed over to the restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised with the menu. Breakfast gave us a wide selection. We had breakfast on both mornings. The pancakes were superb. We even had dinner there on both evenings. The staff at the restaurant...

Queen bed was actually a double, king bed was 2 single beds pushed together, shower was appalling, water pressure and hot water was poor, no heat pump or reverse cycle air conditioning so beware stating in winter or summer, kettle did not work, furniture was cheap, breakfast was extremely overpriced $21 for cereal and toast ”

”As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. ”Lovely hotel (I stayed at Moss 25) in a fantastic part of Hobart. Such an easy place to get to anything, steps from the Salamanca markets and only a few minutes walk to the wharf. I stayed in two rooms (loft and pod). I would stay again, however, I found the rooms way too dark. There was only mood lighting and not enough to make the room bright enough to do anything, esp in the pod rooms that have no natural light whatsoever.
