”Hotel Shattuck is perfectly located near UC Berkeley and the BART station. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. My daughter and I stayed for three days and were very surprised that our room was cleaned daily. The restaurant offered different meal options and it had an awesome ambiance. We really enjoyed our stay.”

”This is a fairly new, smallish hotel. The room and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff, if I remember correctly, cleaned the room every other day, which was fine for us. The room with 2 queen beds is long and narrow, with a useful seating area at one end but not much storage, and a bit of a tight squeeze between the bed and the desk. Bathroom is nice and clean. ”Just a bit squeaky and noisy outside the room”

”I love staying at The Graduate, it’s the only hotel I stay in when I go visit my daughter, everything is close by. The hotel is pretty nice, I like hanging out at the dining lobby, the Henry’s hotel is also convenient and they gave the best brisket burger. The rooms are clean and staff are very nice.”

”The folks at Sens Hotel were so helpful and kind. I canceled one room on Expedia 48 hours before, but it didn't show up as canceled for Hotel Sens', or on Expedia for that matter. Sens canceled the room on their end, then Expedia showed the upcoming refund. The folks at Sens were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back. The hotel is right in the middle of North Berkeley's foodie row.”

”You get what you pay for. Worth what I paid around 160 a night no more. Tv sucks ac sucks, front desk people no where to be found at times, no answer on phone. Runs on a skeleton crew. House cleaning awning excellent, no bed bugs, pretty clean. Parking lot would benefit from a front gate with a passcode or room key system to secure it, its strange that they close one gate and there is no gate on the other side. I would not stay here again based on the poor ac and inability to open the sliding...

”Great location. Beautiful views of San Francisco city and the bay. Helpful staff and was happy they provided fresh coffee in the lobby for free. Nice safe parking lot.”

”The price and quality of the hotel was a good match for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. The was nice, comfortable, and everything worked appropriately. The neighborhood had plenty to choose from fir shopping, dining, and entertainment. In my case the walk to the train station was tricky due to the numerous overpasses that surrounds the area and Google maps telling me to down streets that we're not passable.”

”Lots of places to walk to get great food, before 9 PM. Afterwards, it’s pretty much a food desert. It’s great being two blocks away from Bart when you’re traveling from the airport. Very comfortable beds! Great size bathroom!”
