”Very peaceful hotel and the rooms were clean. Service was excellent and kind. Own car was necessary, the buses wouldn't run in the evening. We had to leave before breakfast but were made sandwicheses instead! Good memories, will come again!”

”The staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble, breakfast was massive full Scottish, brill. Rooms were great, not 5 star but were comfy and clean. Atmosphere at the sands was great, locals are very friendly and I would defo book again, hats of to the hard working staff.”

”Clean room with spare blankets for colder night but room was warm. Bed was an actual double/queen not two singles pushed together. Shower had good pressure with extraction fan. Pub close had good deals with friendly helpful staff (shout out to wendy for helping with postage and other local questions) Breakfast had a good selection, was quick for service and tasted good.”

”This little gem of a hotel is tucked into a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food at the on site restaurant was amazing, the locals in the bar were friendly, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. There was a large parking lot and local trails for walking. We got our laundry done for a very reasonable price, left folded/hung in our room. Highly recommend! ”
